For as long as I can remember, I have always been inclined to care for others. As the oldest of four girls, it just came naturally. However, now that I have children of my own, I find that it is not so easy all the time.
Our children challenge us in ways that reveal our vulnerabilities, our weaknesses. They test our patience and our love. In fact, this is why God commands the older women to teach the younger.
Titus 2:4 “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,”
Sometimes, believe it or not, love does not always come so naturally.
That is why I would like to create a community of mothers. Not to judge or condemn. But to teach. To encourage. To love.
I live a messy imperfect life. My house isn’t always clean. I make mistakes. My children aren’t perfect. I’m not perfect. But I care. And I believe if we can create a group of mothers who will truly care for, encourage and strengthen one another, we can begin to make a difference. We can create a generation of godly mothers who raise their children to love and serve the Lord.
